Twixie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Twixie's Story...
Twixie is a gorgeous and fun 15-week-old female Calico kitten with beautiful markings and a great personality looking for a loving guardian.

Twixie is good with people of all ages including children. She is also good with other kittens and cats and can be adopted with either her mom Joani, or one of her sisters.

Twixie also love toys ... jumping for the bird, and kicking around twinkle balls.

Sadly, Twixie and her family were dropped off at Chicago Animal Care and Control when she very young ... only a few weeks old. They were lucky to have been lovingly raised in a foster home instead of a shelter cage.

Twixie uses her scratching post and litter box like a good kitty. She is very healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, micro-chipped, and virus-tested.

To meet and possibly adopt Twixie, please fill out an adoption application here and follow up with their foster mom Marge at or 773-290-7521.

Twixie's adoption fee of $120 benefits the Illinois Animal Rescue. If you adopt Twixie with either her momma or her sister, the fee for the pair is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Twixie, a Chicago Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
