Rufus's Story...
Meet Rufus - neglected by his previous owner and rescued by a neighbor of that owner. He was not only be starved of attention but not fed and had no shelter in the back yard. Rufus was once a family boy but when his Mom left she could not take him with and hoped that he would be cared for by his so called Dad. Not so much. Rufus is a healthy, gentle, sweet boy that just wants to find a forever home that will show him love again. He is a good boy, crate trained, house trained and seems to be fine with other dogs - but does love to chase the squirrels. Rufus is about 5 years old and has so much love to give - so come visit him and fall in love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus, a Fair Oaks Ranch Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) for sale in Fair Oaks Ranch, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Fair Oaks Ranch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fair Oaks Ranch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fair Oaks Ranch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Setter (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fair Oaks Ranch paves the way for another one to be saved.
