Oscar's Story...
I'm a little 8 pound guy with a lot of personality. I am less than a year old and I must say have my potty skills down pretty good for a pup. I do have a few accidents but almost have this mastered. I am very friendly and social. I walk great on a leash. I refuse to settle for anything less than a smile! I love to play and would prefer a fenced yard. My foster Mom says the only word for me is AWESOME! Oscar is a very happy dog all the time. He loves to go walking and also loves to cuddle on the couch,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Hazard Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
