found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
This photo was taken 12 days after the fall from the balcony. Her owner could not afford to have the fracture repaired, so she brought Chloe to animal control. Poor Chloe has been in agony for 12 days.
We have her now, and she had two surgeries to pin the broken bones back together. Dr. Whittle of Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic operated on Chloe's leg and after three weeks' time, he came to the sad conclusion that Chloe's leg could not be saved. It was amputated on 10/2/14. We wish Chloe a speedy recovery and a happy life as a "tripod". It may be that this is the best result to give her a pain-free life.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation towards the cost of Chloe's surgery, please visit paypal and donate to firstname.lastname@example.org or send a check to Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic at 9 Mountain Street, Atlanta, GA 30339 and be sure to mark at the bottom that your donation is for Chloe the Yorkie.
Chloe will be adoptable around October 25th. In the meantime, she will get the best medical care at Paces Ferry Veterinary Clinic in Atlanta, and then rest in foster care as she heals. Once Chloe is recovered she will be available for adoption.
