Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Isn't Thunder handsome!? I mean, look at those blue eyes. The first thing that always comes to mind in these situations is "How could someone just leave him behind?". Thunder's owners had plans of moving and he wasn't apart of the picture. So they surrendered him to a high kill shelter in TX. Things looked up for this 1 1/2 year old this week! He is being fostered with 9 other dogs & is having a blast! Long walks, playtime, pool parties & cuddles with other rescues. His foster says he is a very smart boy who is learning quickly. He is already getting better walking on a leash and learning that the crate is an okay place to be! Even though she is working with him before he hops on transport we think he would benefit from a basic obedience class. His foster & Farfel's think he is an Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Mix. But who really knows!! His tail is docked, his coat is a beautiful mix of colors & he weighs around 64lbs.
Thunder is arriving in Colorado on 9/19 and we are hoping he can go straight into his forever family. An ideal situation for Thunder would be a very active individual or family. It would be great if you have another dog for him to play with but that is not necessary. If you work full time Thunder will need a dog walker in the middle of the day or doggy daycare 3 times a week! If Thunder speaks to you please complete our adoption application at www.farfelsrescue.com. When emailing, please put ATTN: CASEY in the subject line. Thank you!
