Sis's Story...
Sis has spent the last 7 months living in shelters, but has recently found a coveted foster spot where she's calmed right down and is enjoying life in a HOME. In our daily updates about her progress, she is adjusting well and is surrounded by love and a beautiful family who are helping her reach her full potential by preparing her for her forever home. They are walking her daily and working on her manners. Sis waited SO LONG, and her patience has paid off.

Sis is a great gal who is good with other dogs with proper introductions and if you live local to the Sacramento area, she's available to come stay with you for a weekend, a few days, a week, or whatever you'd like through our "RENT A PITTY" program (home checks and foster application will need to be completed prior to "checking out" Sis).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sis, a Lincoln American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
