Why hello there! Thanks so much for clicking on my photo! Please let me take a few moments to introduce myself!
My name is Blanche and I am a 6 year old female Shih Tzu who is looking for my fur-ever home. I came to the wonderful people at NBS Animal Rescue when my owner had a few too many dogs and couldn't care for us properly. My friends at the Devoted Barn helped get me and my sisters in touch with the great people of NBS Animal Rescue and now we're all loving life! We were all named after the Golden Girls sitcom - check out our Facebook page video for some great before and after photos of us!
Just like the character on the hit show I'm named after, I've got the charm of a Southern Belle and will wiggle my way into your lap AND into your heart! I'm a happy go lucky little lady who is loving my new life in my foster home and enjoys spending time with my people, exploring a fenced yard, playing with my foster brother and sister, and learning new things. I'm doing really well with learning how to potty outside, I'm trustworthy when you're at work, and although I've never been on a walk in my previous house, my foster parents have taught me that walks are FUN and I meet lots of nice people who want to pet my soft fur and tell me how pretty I am. :-) I get along well with other dogs who are gentle and mellow like me, haven't met a cat before, but I'd probably be OK with them living with me.
I am spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and ready to find my fur-ever family who will love me forever! Could it be with you?
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
