Facts about Ripley

  • Breed: Persian
  • Color: Gray Or Blue
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Long
Obnoxious, fearless, and fiesty. Pound-per-pound, possibly the sassiest cat on earth. Will challenge and dominate any other cast or dogs that cross her path. Ripley, aka. “Alien Cat” was named for Sigourney Weaver’s character in Alien. Also commonly addressed as “Dammit Cat” because she so frustrates her foster mom when she persistently escapes outdoors or antagonizes the other cats. Yes, she is an accomplished escape artist. But she’s also incredibly irresistible and highly personable. Ripley is fearless when approaching total strangers, and people of any age. Obnoxiously friendly. Ripely does, however, suffer from chronic upper respiratory infections which need to be medicated and managed. She suffered severe pneumonia coming out of the animal shelter that nearly killed her. She had to be tube fed for three weeks just to keep her alive. She rebounded, but still has a weak spot in her lungs, as she is highly susceptible to infection. Sister to Riley, but do not need to stay together. Ripley’s age is estimated at 7+ years.
