Shawna seems to be a corgi/akita mix. What a combination. She is 5 years old and weighs 28 lbs. She is a gentle, mellow sweet girl who loves to curl in your lap. She loves dogs and people. If there’s someone or something she doesn’t love, we haven’t found it yet. She is social and affectionate but also happy by herself. Poor Shawna has been neglected her whole life. She has never lived inside and was often chained outside. She loves her crate. She is not quite down with the concept of a dog park and didn't want to walk around or play off leash. She may have a little resource guarding over her food. She has had a very hard life. When she was on the streets she was constantly harassed and followed by a pack of neighborhood dogs. She has an amazing spirit, though, because she doesn't hold a grudge. Can you give her a forever, loving, inside home to let her know the world can be a loving and friendly place?
