Sherman's Story...
Sherman is sweet, adventurous and OHHHH so handsome! Pictures just do not do him justice. He is 3 months old and about 20 pounds and loves to give kisses. We are uncertain about his breed, as he was picked up as a stray but estimate that he will be about 55-65 lbs when grown. He is crate trained and keeps his crate clean and dry all night. Sherman is working on house training and is doing great, but as is typical for puppies his age still has accidents if he is not taken out often. He loves other dogs and gets along with cats. Sherman is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama but can travel or transport can be worked out for the the perfect match. His adoption fee is $225 and includes neuter, microchip, vetting and vaccinations plus allows FOR to rescue more animals in need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a Knoxville Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
