Ludwig's Story...
Ludwig # 1750 is a 4-year-old male, Pug mix. This handsome charmer is great with kids and enjoys his treats. Ludwig's big belly, curly tail, and goofy smile will bring you lots of joy. He truly loves to be with people and would make a great companion. Ludwig is particular about the company he keeps when it comes to canines; so some caution should be taken during introductions. We believe you can always teach an “old” dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. This pup will be available at out PUPPYPALOOZA adoption event at the Columbia PetSmart on Saturday, Sept. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. See our Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/LCARMD

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ludwig, a Waldorf Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
