Timmy is an athletically built little guy who looks like he may have a touch of Jack Russell or some other terrier. Compact, strong and fast, he is the European sports car of dogs. Unlike many terriers, he is a bit timid and overwhelmed here in the shelter. He is initially shy when he meets new people, but he warms quickly and is happy to see the volunteers who walk him regularly. Timmy is not friendly with other small dogs and will not do well in an off leash setting. Because he can be timid, he is best suited to a household without children. He is a smart and eager dog, and is likely to be a very loyal companion.
