Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Breed: Greater Swiss Mountain Dog /Hound
Age: 6-7 months
Weight: 32 pounds
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Not Tested
Good with kids:Yes, but is a puppy and will be mouth like puppies usually tend to be. Family must be aware of puppy tendencies in order to adopt
Energy Level: Med - High (This is a puppy. Most puppies are high energy.
They call her Sweet Swissy at the shelter. She is just as happy as can be when you greet her at her kennel. She pleads with her eyes that it's her time to be let out for play time. She loves to play in the yard and play with toys. She will also engage with the other pups. Very social little girl. Loves to be pet but like most pups, always ready to explore the next thing. She has beautiful markings, so be prepared to be questioned what kind of dog she is.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
