for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Jimmy's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jimmy's Story...
Yes, yes, as ridiculous as it seems, this cute kid is in search of love and a family of my own. Speaking of love, what a little lover I am! I am a sweet little dude, but heavy handling will award you a bit of attitude! There is a lot of puppy in me still, and I am still feeling my way around. Some training classes will go a long way in helping me become the bestest boy I can be. A family with other dogs would be great, cats are OK too, but if there are children in the family I ask that they be old enough to understand how to treat me with respect, and know when I am feeling nervous or threatened! I don’t plan on hanging out here long, so how’s about you hurry right in to meet me?

18 months old-26lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes: microchip, neuter, reduced cost-training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jimmy, a Portland Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
