My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well hello there! My name is Cheyenne and I am a young 9 years old yellow female and I weight 85 lbs. My foster mom says I am beyond adorable and sweet. I am a slim, healthy lab, aging beautifully. I have come into SCLRR because my previous parents went through a divorce and moved into smaller places where dogs were not allowed. I do not understand why my previous family left me because my foster mom says I am the PERFECT dog. I love my foster mom so I believe everything she says!

I am now ready to find my own family to love and live happily ever after with. I LOVE people, I love dogs and I even think I might like cats. I haven’t been tested with cats but my foster mom seems to think that I would do great with cats too. I will be very respectful of your home. I am extremely low maintenance. I am completely trustable in the house; I do not have bad habits like chewing, stealing things, etc. I do not go to the bathroom in the house and I am trained to use a doggy door. I get along with everyone, other dogs and children. Just because I looove everyone!!! I would love to have a brother or sister but I could be an only dog too. I love to play with my foster brothers and sister and my foster mom says that I am acting more like a 5 years old dog. That is who I am – a totally cool girl. What I love the most is to go swimming. The first thing that I did the day I arrived to my foster home was to jump in the pool and swim for 30 minutes. It was so good!!! I would like to find a new family that has a pool so I can go swimming.

I can do 2-3 walks a day, for about 20 minutes each time. I love going out for walks. I definitely have the energy to keep up with you on walks – I can walk 2 miles as I am in such a great shape. I have good leash manners as well. I know all basic obedience commands – sit, stay, out and I go to my place when I am told to. My foster mom says that I am one of the easiest fosters she ever had.

I am here now looking for my new family. If you can give me an AWESOME forever home, please contact your family rep.
