http://www.valleydogs.org/caydence.html -- My name is Caydence, but my foster mom calls me Smiley because she says I look like I am smiling all the time. I was found as a stray along with my friend Cadette. It is not certain if we are mother/daughter or siblings, but we are attached to each other and it would be fantastic if we could be adopted together.

I am somewhat of a contrast in character. I am an independent little gal at times, but I also love my snuggle time (especially when it is time to go to bed). I love attention, and will nudge to have the bridge of my nose and the top of my head rubbed. But when we are out for a walk, I like to check things out and explore as much as I am allowed to.

I get along very well with the other foster dogs at the house. Although I am wary of unknown people and dogs, once I know I am okay, I warm up quickly.

My foster mom says she thinks I would be a great family dog, and I am just the right size for it too! I would love a yard to run and play in too. Anytime my foster mom goes near the front door, I am right there as I like going for outside time.
