Frederick's Story...
I'm a handsome,1 year old Foxhound named Frederick. Everyone comments on my adorable, eager face! I was abandoned, emaciated & lonely when found by an incredible woman. Thanks to my foster mom, I am now healthy & glowing. She calls me a cuddle bug. I have such a sweet, gentle, loving temperament. I am friendly with everyone and greatly enjoy playing with other dogs. I also love playing in the water. True to my breed, you’d never find a more easygoing friend & loyal companion. Yes, am I ever a good boy! I am housebroken, neutered, vaccinated & heartworm/Lyme tested. To cuddle with me, please complete an adoption application at www.radfordpoundpals.org or contact pals@psknet.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frederick, a Radford Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound for sale in Radford, or seeking a Foxhound dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound breeders who help with Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
