My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ronan is a very cute 7 month old purebred Border Collie. Ronan loves people and does well with most other dogs. He's a little intimated by dominant dogs, but has been gaining confidence and is even starting to stand up to his dominant foster sister. Ronan seems to do well with cats, as well as older children.

Like most teenage Border Collies, Ronan is going through a bit of a rebellious streak, and tries to get away with what he can. If he gets over excited, Ronan does tend to nip at heels and ankles, but is easily corrected with a water bottle. He is usually very good about only chewing on toys but has been caught trying to nibble on a shoe or two. He is also learning that it is not okay to jump on the counter or table to get a better look at the food he wants to eat!

Ronan is a VERY smart boy, and he should pick up on the rules quickly. Along with a few commands including sit and lay down, Ronan is housetrained and crate trained as well. He is very food and toy motivated.

Ronan would love to be a part of an active family. He would do well with a canine companion, but doesn't need one. He seems to have very sound structure and would also make a good candidate for agility or other dog sports! Ronan's new family would preferably have experience with Border Collies.
