Betsy's Story...
Meet Betsy! This sweet spirited girl loves a sunny window and a good friend to hang out with. She loves her human friends, dog friends and cat friends. She’s an expert at creating cat beds out of boxes, bags and other fun everyday household items. An ideal day for Betsy would include a nap in the sun, some time with her favorite human, and plenty of time to relax. She’s a calm girl that would fit in great in a nice laid back home.

Betsy is litter box trained, spayed, microchipped, felv/fiv tested and up to date on all her vaccinations.

She is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but is not picky about where she ends up as long as she is loved.

If you'd like more information on this pet, or would like to schedule a visit with her, please email info@FORrescue.net or apply directly at http://www.FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
