Miss Mitzy's Story...
Hi there, I am Miss Mitzy…you can call me Mitzy for short. I am 5 years old (as of September 2014) and I weigh just 10 pounds. I am very sweet, affectionate and love to be held. I had to be surrendered because my family did not have time for me, so I am hoping to find a forever family very soon that will love me and play with me. I don’t mind getting dressed up for a day out on the town, and I like to go for walks. I enjoy spending the day looking out the window and feeling a cool breeze come through the screen. I hope that I can fit into your family…come see me!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Mitzy, a Cambridge Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
