Meet the gorgeous Gonzo! This handsome boy is a little over 1 1/2 years old and is a darling Dogue De Bordeaux. He came to us from our Newark facility when he was picked up as a stray, and we cannot imagine how someone could let Gonzo go. He is very happy to have a chance at a fresh start in life with a loving family that will never let him go. When you come to meet Gonzo in person, please don't be put off if he barks at you while in his run. He's big and silly, and that's what he likes to do. He means no harm by it at all, but you must ask to meet Gonzo out of his run to see the happy-go-lucky boy that he really is. Gonzo is energetic, playful and strong, and will need some training with leash walking, but he is young, smart, and eager to learn. Gonzo is very outgoing and friendly, and he'll consider you one of his best buddies within minutes of meeting you. He loves getting attention and is a non-stop smiling tail wagger. Gonzo would like a home with no cats or small dogs, but he doesn't seem to mind larger dogs. He just wants a family that will give him the lifetime of happiness that he's so deserving of.
