Jot's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jot's Story...
Jot's face looks like she has borrowed her mom's lipstick as her lips are outlined in black. She is cozy, sweet, and a curious pre-teen. She loves the dogs who share her foster home, and plays with the cats. Her favorite "critter" is Peggy Sue, a corgi mix, with whom she snuggles and sleeps. Her favorite place is the screened in porch where she can keep an eye on all moving things in the backyard. Jot has a bunch of favorite things -- and we think she'll be your favorite too. She's fostered in Madison, AL and we'd love to introduce you to her. Please email info@FOrescue.net to learn more about her and set up a meeting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jot, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
