My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wonka! This guy has a great personality and an adorable face that will immediately win you over. Wonka was found wandering the streets and was caught by a kind stranger that worried he'd be hit by a car. After a stay at the shelter, Wonka went to a foster home where his true personality revealed itself. This guy loves passing the day napping under the bed or playing with the foster home's toddler (a 15-month old boy who he has NEVER jumped on!). This smart fellow picked up manners very quickly. He is now housebroken, kennel-trained, and knows sit! Even though he is happy to play with the other dogs in the house, he is surprisingly calm and is just as happy to lay around with his humans!

At around 1-2 years, Wonka weighs in around 40lbs. His size and energy level make him great for just about any loving, inside household. There are dogs, cats, and a child in his foster home so he has a wonderfully well-rounded socialization experience. Having learned a healthy fear of cats, Wonka is respectful of the tiniest of creatures. This guy just wants a family to finally call his own!

All Dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
