*REMOVED FROM ADOPTION FLOOR. "Duncan" will melt your heart the instant you meet him. He has a gentle personality, kind soul and loving disposition. He never makes a fuss to be noticed and waits patiently. His story is rather heartbreaking. You see, "Duncan" came into the shelter after his owner died. This poor boy is confused as to why he is now at the shelter. "Duncan" is aged at approximately 6 years old. He is heartworm positive but that is treatable. He seems to have an odd gait coming from his right/back leg. The vet is going to check him. "Duncan" loves people and came over to us, buried his head in our lap and let out a grateful sight. It was simply heartbreaking to have to put him back into his kennel. Please...please don't let "Duncan" spend another night in the shelter. He desperately needs a safe and loving home. He will repay you with a lifetime of gratitude and love. Can you open your heart or home? PLEASE HURRY! This pet has been at the shelter since 08/22/14!! He is now off the adoption floor so you will have to ask the shelter staff to see him - just give them his ID number. Out of state adopters welcomed
