Ace's Story...
My name is Ace and I am looking for a forever home. I was found at the Ace Hardware store here in Cripple Creek. It took a few days for them to catch me. I was very afraid being out there all alone. Now that I have been at the shelter awhile I don't know why I didn't let them catch me sooner. The shelter staff is showing me a lot of affection, which I love. I am very sweet and loving, or so they tell me. I was playing with one of the other dogs at the shelter for awhile but I become very jealous when they were showing attention to the other dog and I was put into timeout a couple of times, now I am doing much better. Now we both get to be out at the same time again. If you are looking for a new family member, please come and visit me in Cripple Creek and I'm sure you will pick me. My adoption fee is only $25.00, and I am well worth it.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Cripple Creek Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cripple Creek, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cripple Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cripple Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cripple Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cripple Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
