Ace is a male Havanese mix puppy approximately 7 months old. As you can see from his pictures, he is a beautiful dog. Ace has non-shedding, fluffy caramel colored waves with deep brown highlights on his ears, face and tail. He is super soft - his coat is like a down pillow. Ace currently weighs 14 pounds and his adult weight is estimated to be about 18 pounds. He is a social, merry, friendly puppy. Ace is a silly and playful puppy and would do best with another playful doggie friend in the home. He loves silly play and can frequently be found rolling around on his back with another puppy playmate. Ace makes friends wherever he goes, people and dogs alike. You can take him anywhere and be assured that he will behave appropriately. And also be assured that heads will turn! He is simply gorgeous, strutting his stuff and waving his tail in the air like a flag. Ace is great with kids and definitely likes to hang out where the people are. He loves to be included in any and all activities and is an eager participant in walks, trips to the dog park, or a house full of company. Ace will be right in the middle of it all bopping around and spreading sunshine and cheer. Inside the home, Ace is snuggly and affectionate and will find a soft dog bed in which to flop down in and claim as his own. He will also be the first one in your lap if you sit down and invite him. Ace is puppy pad/paper trained and already very good with his potty habits. He was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. Ace is super healthy and ready for his new forever home today!

Ace’s adoption donation is $450 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Ace is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Vicki and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Ace at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ACE, a Newport Beach Havanese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
