My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smalls is a female cat born in March 2014. She is still a kitten at almost 6 months old! Smalls earned her name by being the smallest of her litter. Being small, she is very cautious and shy in new situations. But once she feels comfortable, she can be most affectionate, winding herself around you and purring. With time, she might well become a good lap cat. She has a beautiful, glossy black and white tuxedo coat. Less playful than her littermates (read: not a troublemaker), though she did attempt to help write her own bio, walking across the keyboard. She is on the intense side but is calm enough to accept small children manhandling her. In general though, she probably would prefer not to be overstimulated. She has been spayed and is up to date on all her shots. She enjoys the company of her littermate, Dumbo, and would be great to adopt as a pair.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
