found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Chyna is for all intents and purposes your typical Sheppard. She needs a lot of exercise to keep her happy and content and would love to be a jogging partner, run along side your bike or at least a minimum of daily brisk walks.
Chyna knows her basic commands and is very good off leash. She will run ahead at times but doesn't get too far before she is circling back to see where you are. She loves the water and will run straight off the end of a dock to fetch a stick. Her favourite game is playing fetch. She also loves her doll "crybaby" which she carries everywhere with her and you know she likes you when she brings it over to you.
Like most Sheppards, Chyna is wary of strangers until she gets to know them and prefers to meet new dogs and people on her own time. Depending on how someone approaches her she will bark but if made to sit she will stop and is easily distracted to ignore them. She has not been socialized around young children and does find their loud noises and fast movements stressful as she does with small yappy and/or charging dogs.
Chyna would do well in a family with older children and/or adults that are active and love the outdoors. She is a very loyal and protective pet and would do well with someone willing to continue her training and that would handle her with consistency and love.
