Celeste's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Celeste's Story...
Celeste is a beautiful Maltese female. She has a beautiful white coat of hair with stunning, big dark eyes. She weighs 12 ½ lbs and could benefit by losing some weight. Celeste is a healthy, young 1 year old. She has been spayed, has a microchip, and her shots are current.

Celeste would do best with an experienced adoptive family as she is fearful when she first meets a person, but once she feels secure; she enjoys human companionship. She feels most secure when she is in the company of another small dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Celeste, a San Diego Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
