Lucy's Story...
UPDATE: OCTOBER 20th Lucy is all ready for her forever home! She is SUPER attached to her buddy Charlie and would probably need to be adopted together. Please come see this gorgeous couple at Petsmart in Greensburg on Saturdays noon-5.
(First 2 pictures are new Oct 18)

Adorable little Lucy was found as a stray all alone. We don't know what happened to her mama. She is about 8 weeks old so will need a few more weeks until she is ready for her new home. Lucy is a cute little girl and is good with other cats. (She is cuddling with her buddy, Charlie, in picture #2) She will be spayed before her adoption. If you have any questions about Lucy, call her foster mom : 724-832-1665 Lucy will be at the Greensburg Petsmart most Saturdays from noon to 5:00 pm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Irwin Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Irwin, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Irwin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irwin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irwin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irwin paves the way for another one to be saved.
