Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bruce is a ten-year-old terrier mix that was abandoned at another shelter. We offered to help and placed him in our adoption center. Nearly all of his teeth were decayed -- they were literally falling out. After we gave him a thorough exam we scheduled him for a dentistry, where we had to remove all but four teeth. But that doesn't stop Bruce from enjoying his meals and living life to the fullest! He has a delightful personality and is so much fun to be around. Smiles guaranteed!
The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904 to protect the city's working horses. Today, its clinic and Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center looks after the health and emotional well-being of every adoption animal. HSNY is a non-kill shelter. Every animal is micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and they offer FREE vet care for the first 3 weeks after adoption. TO APPLY, please visit http://humanesocietyny.org/adoptions/ --download the application, then email completed form to sandra.hsny@verizon.net, fax it to (212) 752-2803, or bring it in person to the adoption center. Our one and only location is: 306 East 59th Street (between 1st & 2nd Avenues) in Manhattan. Our adoption hours are 10:30AM - 4:00PM, 7 days a week. If you'd like to sponsor this pet, please email sandra.hsny@verizon.net. Your donation is tax deductible, and 100% will go towards animal programs.
