Lilly's Story...
Hi, my name is Lilly! I am approx. 5-6 months old (Sept 2014) and full of love and kindness. I was found living outside of a business (someone dumped me there) and I kept trying to run inside to find someone to take care of me (I was scared, hungry and lonely). The business was going to take me to the pound but luckily A4A heard my story and stepped up to save me just in time. I am now spayed, vaccinated, FeLv tested (negative) and treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms. I love the indoor life and do well with other cats and dogs too. I love all people and just love attention. I like to play and also like to snuggle. I'm a happy girl and hope to find a loving, forever home to call my own soon. Are you ready to adopt me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
