Maebh's Story...
Maebh is a healthy young adult spunky girl and is ready for fun! This girl has so much love and joy to offer a family and it takes only a few minutes to fall for this girl. She is a typical terrier - she needs an active family ready to invest time and continued training to keep her active terrier mind in line. She will be your constant companion and loves to do agility, barn hunting, and is also learning to swim!

Older children are ideal because she can be nippy in moments of high excitement.

She does well with other dogs but can be a pest to kitties.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maebh, a Virginia Beach Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
