My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mary Kate. She is an adorable little 3 month old Hound/Border Collie mix pup with loads of personality. She is so cute. Her little face is a sweet combination of both breeds...short hair and ears that just beg you to rub them.

Her personality is precious. She can be shy and timid at first, but when she gets to know you, she is a little love bug.

Mary Kate (sometimes we call her Sugar Pie Honey Bunch) was found as a stray puppy in a rainstorm. She was scared, hungry and riddled with fleas and ticks. Poor little dog! Well, all of that is behind her now. She is completely healthy, completely vetted, including microchip with lifetime registration pre-paid, and ready to make you laugh with her antics.

Like all puppies, she will benefit from basic obedience training. The Border Collie in Mary Kate shows in her ability to learn quickly and she'll be at the head of the class. She's already doing extremely well with her house training and walking on her leash. With her breed mix, she will do best in a home with an active family that enjoys hiking or outdoor activities. She loves other dogs, so a family with a dog she can pal around with would be great. Her new home should be ready for all of the joys and trials of puppy hood with all its antics.

Because she is so young, we don’t recommend that her family have children under 5 years old. Puppies and toddlers are not usually a good fit.

Mary Kate loves people, toys, other dogs and shares her foster home with several cats (who don’t want to play with her as much as she wants to play with them). She especially enjoys toys and asks that her new family have plenty of them on hand for her. For an application to give this little sweetheart the forever home she deserves, please contact dbalicki54@gmail.com. Her adoption fee is $375.00.
