Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barney is one of those amazing dogs that beat the odds .. he is approx 4-5 yrs old and 40 lbs, a beautiful bearded collie mix.. when we rescued him, he had caught distemper , but managed to fight through it. He was only left with the typical twitching that a lot of the distemper dogs have. Over the past two plus years we have watched his twitching abate and now you will only see that his front and back legs have spasms when he is sleeping and occasionally he has a slight head bob. Otherwise when he is up and running and playing with his rescue buddies he is like any other normal dog. He really has come a long way and deserves a wonderful home. He loves toys and treats, he walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car and go places. He gets along with all of the other rescues, loves people, he is just a really special dog and every day he seems to get better and better. We would love one day for his twitches to go away fully but in the meantime they do not bother him and he is just as sweet and happy as can be.
