Meeeeoooowww – this is one amazing cat, she is the epitome of the “cat’s meow”.
From the minute Fuzzy Pawz took Miso out of the shelter we knew we had something pretty special in our hands. She nestled right into her foster moms arms like she never wanted to leave; and she doesn’t! Miso loves to be held in your arms, sit on your lap or at the very least sit next to you. Miso is very affectionate with anyone who will put their hands on her; she will lean in or rub against you asking to be loved on. If you have been ignoring her for a long time she will throw herself down on the floor at your feet and roll over onto her back just begging for affection. We are sure that Miso never met a stranger; she is out to win the hearts of everyone that comes in contact with her. She’d even be great with kids that are old enough to know better than to pull on her tail, ears, fur.
Now don’t get us wrong Miso is not so affectionate that she is bothersome; well sometimes she can be but she listens very well and gets it when you ask to be left alone for a while. If you aren’t petting her she loves to play with toys – balls with bells in them are her favorite, she will ran and chase them like a wild child. Keep in mind that she is only about 2 and so still a lot of kitten; she has a true zest for life that we think she will have into old age.
Miso is currently living with 2 other cats and does well with them other than the occasional bout of hissing at each other. She really likes to play chase and tag with the young cat in her foster home and actually shares toys very nicely. She has learned that the older cat in the household won’t put up with kitten crazy so Miso gives her space. We haven’t had a chance to test her with dogs yet but my guess is that she would be okay with cat savvy dogs that understand not to chase her when she is playing.
When Miso first came to her foster home she did jump on the counters and tried to scratch the furniture. But this is one smart girl – her foster mom told her no in a stern voice and she has never done it again. She really is the perfect roommate. She uses the litterbox as she should, knows to wait politely for food, takes treats gently, hasn’t quite figured out her name but she will come if you pat your leg and say come.
If you are looking for an amazing buddy to join your household Miso just might be the perfect fit. Any potential adopter must want a buddy to sleep with them and have an open lap for Miso to lay in.
