Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JAKE is a 1 year old black neutered male Lab who weighs 56 pounds. He's a friendly energetic pup who loves to play and get attention. He likes to retrieve and is good at it!! Good with other dogs ~ played with several at shelter and kennel. Knows sit, comes when called. Jake comes from the country and may not do well in an apartment/condo or city environment. He will make a wonderful addition to an active family that is looking for an young energetic lab as an addition to their family. He needs a good sized fenced yard to run and play in as he has lots of energy that he needs to use up in interactive play. He's approved for kids aged 10+.
Update (11/22): Jake is a bundle of joy. He is playful and is calm in the house except for feeding times. He is underweight so gets really excited. He likes to be close to us and doesn't always want to go out to play, he'd rather hang out and grab a bone and relax. He likes to follow me around the house, but he also loves to play and wrestle with the resident dog in the yard. He's just adorable!
Update (11/16): Jake gets along great with the resident dog. He is curious for sure but hasn't gotten into anything. He is house trained and has gone outside to play a lot. Trying to teach him to ring the bell to go out. He knows sit and takes treats gently. He hasn't been getting up on the furniture, yay! He is playing with toys and chewing bones and loves resident dog. He is a sweetheart! Link to a video of him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhtOz3j3lGY
