My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SAM is an 8 year old yellow neutered male Lab who weighs 85 pounds. He came to our rescue with his buddy, CINDY. Sam & Cindy are a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together. They are great dogs, they are friendly and very lovable. If they had their way they would be Laplabs but don't think they would fit. Cindy is the leader and the first to explore new things, Sam follows along to make sure she doesn't get into too much trouble. Cindy likes to retrieve, Sam not so much so. They love to be with you to get petted. They lived in the country, had free run of the house, and are used to being going out to a yard to play in fenced yard. They haven't been getting a lot of attention or interactive play for the past few months as their owner who had them since they were puppies was taken ill. Would not do well in an apartment/townhouse/or condo. They need a good size fenced yard to play in. They are approved for kids aged 4+.

Sam and Cindy story - They are very friendly and love attention. They were turned in to the shelter after their owner passed away and no one in the family could take them. Their owner was wheelchair bound and had them for company.. Their Live in Health Care had 3 children who they loved her children are 4 to 12. They are used to a motorized wheelchair and a hospital bed. They are a very bonded pair and need to be adopted together.

Update (9/22): Sam and Cindy are the best of friends. They enjoy a good romp at the doggie park and are great with kids. They are housebroken. They want nothing more than to be by your side and get a belly rub. Such a sweet pair!!
