OINK's Story...
A NOTE FROM HER FOSTER PARENTS: Alice/Oink is a 4-5 year old Australian cattle dog mix with a gorgeous brindle coat, who is an amazing and dedicated dog. We think of her as the Zen dog – she is very attuned to the humans in her life and a calming presence. She is good with other dogs and has been a great role model for our high energy puppy. She walks perfectly on a leash and is a great running companion as well. She tends to bond with one person, so is the perfect dog for someone looking for a trusty companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OINK, a Los Angeles Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
