My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leon is a war horse who retired sound from Finger Lakes Race Track in December 2013. He ran 62 times and earned $95,030 from 6 firsts, 6 seconds and 13 thirds. Leon is a very sweet boy whose personality wins over everyone he meets! He has been restarted under saddle and over small fences and is very willing and brave. Leon has no vices but will require an intermediate type rider to bring him along. He has shown twice this season, at our Thoroughbred Jubilee Benefit Horse Show and at the Chemung County Fair Horse Show, both over small fences. He recently attended his first hunter pace and loved it!

Thundering Roar is available for adoption with a no racing/no auction contract with right of first refusal through Second Chance Thoroughbreds, Inc.
