My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Belly. People are my life. I will play or snuggle or walk or sleep just to be with you. I love to chew on toys, Kongs, tennis balls, plastic bottles. You name it. I am a fan of peanut butter and will gladly clean out the last bits in the plastic jar. I love to play fetch (laser pointers are better). I love to give hugs when you come home. I love to play with other dogs and kids. I love everything!,..except dark scary things at night and getting my nails clipped. I would like to find a home with lots of attention, so can I show you how much I love you.

I am very high energy and when I don't get my exercise I become restless and anxious (which leads to chewing on anything!). I do well with my foster family because my brother, Holler, helps me drain my energy and I almost always have a human around to make me feel better. When the 'alpha humans' are home, I am the most comfortable, since it is important for me to please them. I desperately need strong leader with a lot of time at home to be my owner.

Adoption Fee: $400
Adoption fees for all dogs/puppies include a $50 refundable training deposit. Complete your basic training program and provide a copy of the certificate within 4 months (120 days) of adoption and we will refund $50 of the original adoption fee.
All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. At this time it is necessary to send a request for an application. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application.

We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
