Tandy was chosen to provide a blood transfusion - and her service saved her life as well as another cat's life. Because of her gentle disposition and cooperation, the animal shelter presented her to FOR Rescue - and we were equally impressed with her. She is an extraordinary cat. She's a big girl - she makes an impression when you meet her! You'll notice the shaved patch on her neck from the transfusion. She wants to be near a human companion all the time but she isn't needy - she just want to be close to you. When you approach she lifts up on her back legs to greet you, gently rising up eagerly. She's ready for immediate adoption and we can't wait for her to meet someone who will keep her safe and loved for the rest of her life. She deserves it more than any cat we've met.
