Romeo's Story...
Romeo is without a doubt one of the most handsome cats I have seen. It is not obvious in the pictures but Romeo is missing a front leg due to a bad fight he got into with another cat. He gets around great and only having three legs does not stop him from enjoying life. Because he is a long haired cat he does need to be brushed on a regular basis and he LOVES it. When you ask him if he wants a brush he comes running. Romeo gets along very well with other cats and he does do okay with dogs also. Romeo is neutered, vaccinated and has been tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Columbus Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
