Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brahm is a large, very loveable, black, cat that may be a Maine Coon Mix.
His date of birth is: 07/03/09. Brahm is Feline Aids POSITIVE but Feline Leukemia NEGATIVE, neutered and up to date on shots. Even though Brahm is positive for Feline Aids, he seems healthy and is on NO meds. Feline Aids cats can live long, healthy, happy, lives, just like any other cat, with good care and nutrition. It would be best for Brahm to be an only cat or live with another Feline Aids positive cat. Brahm is very easy going and would get along very well with another cat. Poor Brahm was abandoned by his previous owner and dumped outside where he was beat up by other neighborhood strays. That is probably how he became Feline Aids positive, as Feline Aids is usually spread by a bite wound from another Feline Aids infected cat. Feline Aids is not as contagious as Feline Leukemia and is not spread through food dishes or shared litter boxes. . Brahm is exceptionally sweet, easy going, gentle, affectionate and goes out of his way to get along with others. Brahm deserves to be in a loving home, rather than the 4 ft. Pen he's stuck in. Why not consider Brahm, alone or maybe with another Feline Aids positive cat? Either way, Brahm would love the attention he would get in his new home. Brahm gets along with very well with nice, gentle children and other friendly, FIV+ cats. Brahm is located in Lisbon, Ct.
