Marie's Story...
My name is Marie. I may appear kind of grouchy in my picture but I most certainly am not. I am a striking long haired tuxedo kitty that is longing for a home of my own. I know that is not a unique wish here at M''Shoogy's with all of us wanting the same thing. I am a friendly yet quiet kitty that despite my unusual facial markings and beautiful coat, often gets over looked. I wait patiently for people's attention rather than throwing myself at them like some of these other shameless kitties. I tell them patience is a virtue, but it can also be a hindrance in a shelter with soooo many cats to choose from. If you are looking for a beautiful, patient, friendly and affectionate cat to add to your family, ask for Marie. Now that you know to look for me, I won't be overlooked anymore.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marie, a Savannah Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
