Reilly's Story...
Hi everyone!! My name is Reilly, i'm named after the business i was found behind (O-Reilly's auto parts). I was just a little kitten when i was trapped, so a St. Francis volunteer brought me inside to learn how the other half lives. And I sure do like it!! I might take a little longer to trust you won't hurt me, but once i know you and trust you, I am your best friend and will come to you for head butts and chin scratches. I hope to find my forever home with another kitty because i really like having a kitty friend. I hope there's a home out there for me, and maybe for my buddy Spanky too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Reilly, a Tampa American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
