Higgins's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Higgins's Story...
Higgins was sitting on a very nice couples porch when they got back from vacation. They took him in because it was raining and waited for someone to come looking for him. No one did. They turned him over to animal control and still no one was looking for him. Higgins is a little nervous with all the changes but he is a good boy. he's house trained, neutered, and will be vaccinated soon. He walks on a leash, rides in a car and is looking for a for ever home. ( the flash makes his eyes look funny, they are fine.)

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Clara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Clara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
