Charming Copper's Story...
Hi! my name is Charming Copper and I am looking for a loving, forever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico called Dead Dog Beach. I am a very happy go lucky, playful dog who loves people and am good with other dogs. I would love to be a part of a family who would take me hiking and on lots of adventures with them. I am about 1.2 year old, 48 lbs, neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated and mcrochipped. If you would like to meet me please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses,
Charming Copper :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charming Copper, a Madison German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Madison, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
