Sophie's Story...
This little masked beauty is well balanced: she's equally happy sleeping on your lap as she is rough housing with her dog buddies. In fun mode, Sophie is a little firecracker who loves to play and explore the world around her. She seems to like water, as she jumps into her huge water bowl and splashes around joyfully. Sophie is also very smart; she knows exactly where to hide to ambush foster canine buddy, Shelby or littermate, Frankie. When she is tired though, she trots right up to her foster family and let's them know it's cuddle time. Every night, Sophie loves to be cuddled and given a good belly rub before being put to bed. And just before it's time to get tucked in, Sophie first has to deliver kisses to each family member. So adorable! Sophie is pretty gentle with the 11-month old human in her foster family. She walks right up to him, licks his foot, and then walks away. Sophie is a real dream: she is a cute, smart, sassy, playful cuddle bug!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a La Habra American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in La Habra, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in La Habra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra paves the way for another one to be saved.
