My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

DOB 9/1/06 Shaggy, 8 y/o, Male, Weimaraner. If there is a comfy place to curl up and take a nap, Shaggy will find it! He is a pretty easy going fella. Shaggy enjoys the company of people and gets along well with other large dogs – especially female dogs. He lives with children, but will prefer a calm and quiet home with older kids. Shaggy has a bit of arthritis in one hip, but he still loves going on daily walks and swimming. He also loves to ride in the car and is the perfect passenger. Shaggy loves food and will steal food off the counter and even out of your hands. He may have a bit of separation anxiety, so Shaggy would do well in a home with a family member that is home quite a bit during the day – a stay at home or work from home parent would be Shaggy’s dream come true! Shaggy knows basic commands and walks well on leash. Shaggy gets along well with cats, but will chase birds. Shaggy is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Currently in San Jose. If you would like to adopt Shaggy, please fill out an application at http://ncwr.weimaraner.org/foster-adopt-application?destination=application/thank-you
